Graydon Holdings N.V. is based in Amsterdam.

History

Graydon was founded in 1888 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The name Graydon was adopted in 1986, when the original company, named Van der Graaf & Co., joined forces with its competitor Dongelmans and adopted the new name Graydon.

1940

In London, the Gantz family sets up the Amalgamated Trade Protection (ATP) information agency.

1987

Graydon takes over British company ATP. The company is renamed Graydon UK Limited.

1989

NCM acquires ownership of all Graydon holding shares and sells 27.5 to the German credit insurer Hermes (presently part of EULER Hermes) and 27.5 to the French credit insurer Coface.

2000

Merger of Graydon UK debt collection activities with those of STA. Acquisition of a 25% stake in STA Graydon.

2001

New software products: ePatrol: the world's first Portfolio Risk & Credit Management tool and XSellence - providing automated credit and customer setup decisioning.

2003

Graydon International is established.
